Baseball Hall of Fame Yearbooks
Does anybody know when the Baseball Hall of Fame first started issuing a yearbook? I have a 1948 issue.
It seems all issues prior to 1981 had a pic of the Hall of Fame building on the cover...is that correct? I also have all issues from 1981 to date...I believe 1981 was the first year Dick Perez started doing artwork for the Hall of Fame and the yearbook covers...is that right? Thanks in advance for responses. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

1939 looks to be the year that the HoF Yearbooks started. The other questions you posed I don't know.
"The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum entered the yearbook field in 1939, the year the Cooperstown institution was officially dedicated and held its first-ever Induction Ceremony. Initially, the final product resembled nothing more than a pamphlet, but over the decades the publication has gained both size and stature as a favorite keepsake for fans of the game." https://baseballhall.org/discover-mo...seball-annuals |
Thanks very much for the info
