My 1961 Post Cereal Yankee uncut sheet is finally under glass
 

I really love this item from 1961. Even living in Boston I (like every kid in America) was transfixed by Mantle and Maris. What a great summer for baseball.
I finally spent the money to have my beautiful Post Cereal Yankee team uncut sheet archival framed with museum quality glass. This uncut 1961 Post Cereal sheet is just beautiful. I made sure to have "photo corners" used (easy to detect on top left of Berra card) instead of having the sheet adhere to the backing. The sky blue matting matches the color of the sky in the photos. The last 2 photos are pre archival framing.
Not even sure if it is that valuable....I'm just happy to show it off

Just curious...How did the framer adhere the panel to the white matte board? Hope he didn't drymount it or glue it in anyway ?

On the upper left of the Berra card the photo corner is easy to see

I'm a big fan of the 1961 Post Company issue — and especially the uncut perforated team sheets. I wish they had issued all the Post card from 1961 through 1963 this way. Not only are the Company cards machine-cut, but the cardboard is better and the photos are sharper than the ones on cards cut from the backs of boxes. Here's the one from my collection — I would be happy to trade it for one of the Reds.

So, I have a question....I’ve been thinking about framing a few of my vintage cards to display (nothing too valuable), but I’m concerned about fading. You mentioned ‘museum quality glass’. Will that prevent fading in interior lighting? It’s a catch 22. I feel like many vintage cards are little pieces of art ( like your Post set) that should be displayed and enjoyed. But displaying them could damage them (unless i’m over estimating how much damage light can do).
