T207 Ed McDonald - Auction is Toast

You are bidding on a low condition T207 card of Ed McDonald of the Boston Braves. I personally like the look of this damaged card, and Ed kinda looks like he is questioning why you haven't already placed a bid. Cool card for those who appreciate honest, severe damage that looks fantastic.

The opening bid is $5.00. Bid increments are $1.00. Auction ends Sunday September 23rd at 10pm EST. Card will be sent first class in padded envelope at no additional charge.

Bids with 10:00 pm time stamp are legit, 10:01 and after are too late and your teeth will grit.

Good Luck!

He got me with that glare
For the seven dollars I can spare.

It might not be my final bid
If I don’t win, i’ll Wish I did

If this McDonald had a farm
Which animal did this card the harm?

Aw , 8 dollars seems fair
After all, it’s honest wear.

Thanks Brian, and nice job! I may consider requiring all future bids to be placed in nursery rhyme form.

Two days before the barn door closes on this one. You have the choice of topping the $8 bid, or topping Brian's Nursery Rhyme (which will be tougher to do).

Final reminder before the bell tolls on this one tonight at 10pm EST...good luck!

Jon,

I accept your attempt at a nursery rhyme...I believe what you were going for was '9 almost rhymes with you got your bid in just in time'. Congrats, and PM is on the way.

Well played Jon:p

I would have bid higher but I was watching FB while trying to think of a phrase like “Ten rhymes with Orange “

The 9 represented a Spenserian stanza...and $9 bucks! Let me know your PayPal and I'll get funds coming.
