Can anyone help to identify these players? 1930s
I know it's not much to go on, but I bought these flip books, they are from the 1930's I was told.
All I can tell you is that one of the right-hand hitters is #11, the other you cannot tell from any of the pictures. The left-hand hitter is #4. All these 3 flip books are 12 pages each, with no wording on any page. If no one has any idea who they are, do you know how I can find out who they are, I don't think they would be nobodies and have their own flip book. They should have been popular players for a few years to get a flip book, wouldn't they? |
Do you have pictures?

They look like they came from either the 1937 Goudey Flip Movies R326 or 1937 Goudey Thum Movies R342.
These players appear on both sets. Jack Burns Joe Vosmik Mel Ott Joe DiMaggio Wally Moses Van Mungo Luke Appling Bob Feller Paul Derringer Paul Waner Joe Medwick Jimmie Foxx Wally Berger |
Guessing these are from the 1937 Goudey thum movies. 11 may be Paul Waner.

Looks like Stan Musial

These are coverless R326 Goudey flip movies. No. 11 is indeed Paul Waner. The two right-handed batters are Joe Vosmik (middle) and Wally Berger. (bottom).
