Screwed on Paypal ?
I have a quick opinion service for autographs.
I have a Paypal link on my website for that service. The fee is $17.99. On July 31 I received three payments from an individual. He emailed three links to me. All from a questionable auction site. Not CC. One Ruth-Gehrig and two Ruth items. All three items were poorly done forgeries. I told the person that the items were all bogus. Today, 29 days later, he files a Paypal case for all three items. Claiming that it was unauthorized use of his account. I received three notifications from Paypal, all of which I answered. I have the email exchanges between myself and this person. Is there anything else I can do here to protect myself from these bogus charges? |
You might get on the phone with them and tell them what happened?

Getting to a human being takes more patience than I have. I went through the circus of VM and then held on and held on and held on. Eventually, I just gave up. I had filed a response on PP to the scammer and then sent another missive to PP with a further explanation. |
