Type 1 Snapshots Fantography Secretariat At The Belmont Stakes 1973
There are four original shots of Secretariat in the paddock area just before his immortal showing in the race to follow. The lucky race-goer who took these photos was able to get right to the rail and took some amazing photos of the horse and jockey Ron Turcotte.
Secretariat, of course, ran what was likely the single greatest race in history at the Belmont that day. Winning the race by 31 lengths and, nearly half a century later, still holds the Belmont record by TWO FULL SECONDS...which is absolutely insane. If noone has ever watched that race, I suggest the ESPN Sport Century on Youtube. There is one section that is all about that race. Link is below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-KvaeuIIsw Now then... The two below are 8x10 Type 1 images. Only thing on the back is the Kodak Print stamp for each one. Asking $85 on this first one... http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...psv6onrqjz.jpg Asking $60 on this next one... http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...psspueg223.jpg The next two are approximately 3x3 Type 1 snapshots.
