I'm sure the current high bidder appreciates you pointing this out.

Have you seen what PSA 8's go for on PWCC auctions ?
8.5 pretty rare and much more valuable
JMHO

Here is another at Memory Lane.
The Love of The Game PSA 8.5 looks much nicer
MY SGC 92 looks better than both of those PSA 8.5's

so what if it is his card? He posted in the correct section, and others routinely link to items they have at auction. not to mention that card could use the help.

It got moved here from the main page. I would not have asked if it was his card if it was posted in the correct section.:)

All 3 are beauties! I think the LOTG one will probably get more bids as it's a steal right now.

Hard to say...this is one of those cards that got bumped like overnight. One day in 2014, it's like someone flipped the switch and said "This isn't a $5,000 card anymore....this is a $15,000 card"....Did the "buyer's group" do that?? Who knows....maybe 6 months down to line, people will realize that they overpaid and be hoping and wishing they can get $10,000 for theirs.

Some clarification-
The thread was moved WITHOUT a redirect because it shouldn't have been there in the first place AND looked like (regardless of if it was or not) someone was trying to get exposure in a manner not suitable for the front page. A redirect (link to the thread moved) can be from 0 hours to eternity. They are usually set for around 1-4 hours then the redirect goes away and the thread stays where it was moved. The longer the redirect stays the more exposure the moved thread gets.

Agreed.

And while I am not calling out the post as wrong when put in the proper area or context, having to try to support a value by attempting to draw up other sales vs letting the market dictate does not support a strong argument toward value.
