Definitely hitting the Pro-Am Auction this winter
I may have bid in this one before I was officially invited, I hope my bid still counts |
The invitational is an exclusive auction we do once a year and has stuff that we save for the entire year just for this sale.
The last one had the Curse of the Bambino Contract which brought $2,093,927 and the 1927 Babe Ruth World Series Ring Ruth Contract which brought 2,303,320. This one features the Oscar Robertson Collection, the T206 cards from the Charles Bray Collection and the finest group of early baseball we have offered in years. This includes a 1903 Boston Red Sox Horner Cabinet of the first World Series Champions and a matching 1902 Chicago White Sox Horner Cabinet. I'm awarding 1 point to both drcy and R0nnie for their comment! Craig Shakespeare |

That La Azora schedule card of Ty Cobb is super cool. I have never seen that one before. I could see the bidding getting really crazy for such an obscure Cobb item.

Lajoie was so good they called it the Napoleons since he carried the team year after year. |
Thanks for the heads up! We are going to make the necessary adjustments.

Even Heritage and REA do not get really rolling until the last day. Sure some special lots get a lot of early activity but plenty of room to bid on stuff even on the last day. Sadly it has discouraged me from evening registering with Leland's and why I do not bid with PWCC. Good luck to all, Chase |
