Help ID'ing Baltimore Eastern League Player
1 Attachment(s)
I have an unidentified Baltimore Eastern League Player from 1905 or 1906, I have examined several composites from REA sales and elsewhere but cannot make a final determination. I have ruled out most of the team as I have them ID'd and am down to a couple of possibilities, but would rather not lead the posters to a conclusion, but let them see if they match mine.
Any help appreciated. Scott |
Hi Scott,
Looks like Jim Mullen to me. |
Thanks Dave,
That is who I was leaning towards. Anyone else, yea or nay? |
Not that it counts for anything, and only because you asked, no, we don't see much of a resemblance.
But we probably don't have enough other shots of Mullen to judge, and who are we to dispute Dave's opinion? We have no other candidates, either. |
My second idea was a young Tim Jordan? anyone see him in this pic.

Don't know if this helps or hurts Mullen theory .....
Attachment 322600 Eyes, nose, mouth, chin and jaw line look pretty good .......... but "oh those ears ???" |
That was the image I saw as well, and the hair split down the middle helps. Anyone have a young image of Tim Jordan? The ones I find online are 1909 and later.
|
Louis Rapp?

Louis Rapp........

.......looks like it may be a good call PR09, but I'm not an "ear expert" (Rapp played for Baltimore in 1907).
