Fired up! Just received my first Bill Terry card
I've always wanted a Bill Terry card. I finally picked up a 1933 Goudey graded 4 (although I'm going to crack it for my raw collection).
Reminder, Terry was the last player in the NL to hit over .400 when he hit .401 in 1930. In 1933 he won the World Series for his NY Giants as a player/manager. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/VK0AA...uHm/s-l500.jpg |
Congratulations, Chuck!

Green grass and blue skies. Nice Terry card, Chuck!

I always liked the full body action cards in the 1933 Goudey set, and Terry's card is a really nice example of their action artwork. Nice pickup.

Bill Terry
I was lucky enough to have met Mr. Terry and talk with him and receive his
autograph in the fall of 1988 during the Cooperstown Hall of Fame induction weekend. I met most of the living Hall of famers in attendance that year! |
Congratulations Chuck! Solid card, enjoy it!

Beautiful Card Congrats.
