How do they calculate eBay Bucks?
It's usually 1%, special offer can change it. But I've got $75 worth of stuff in my cart right now, and it says it's worth $0.26 in eBay Bucks. Now obviously I don't care about the fifty cents, but I am curious to know how these calculations work.
Some of the stuff I won a couple days ago and haven't paid yet, so maybe that doesn't count? But on the other hand, I just put a $42 item in the cart, and that by itself should be more than $0.26. |
It's just a bug. You'll get the 1%.
|
It has to be a single item for 50.00 or more to get 6%. Auctions won before you activated the promo are 1%. Items less than 50.00, no matter what you spend, are 1%.

Don't forget you do not get ebay bucks for shipping charges.
Whenever there is a bonus offer I try to buy items with free shipping just because of that. |
The figure they display as you're checking out is only showing the bucks you'll accrue from a single card in that shopping cart. For some reason, their coders have not done that piece of software correctly. You will getthe bucks off the entire cart, though.

It is likely calculating the Bucks on one of your items....you will get your $.75 unless that $75 total includes shipping charges...........

Where do you look to see how many eBay bucks you have?
Do you have to sign up for it? |
