T205 Downgrade. Anyone Else?
1 Attachment(s)
As well as upgrading visually, for my T205 set, I will downgrade technically too. It can help save funds for other purchases. These were pretty close in my opinion....
Anyone else do that kind of thing? |
I have not, but IMHO the '3' looks better than the '5'.
|
They both look equally good to me. Might as well go with the 3!

All the time.
I recently sold the 7 to "downgrade" to the 6, which I believe is slightly better centered. |
Subjective grading is brutal when the grader comes into work hungover or just after fighting with the girlfriend.

I have on occasion downgraded in the past, but sometimes it is just plain impossible to do so.
Brian (the Walsh is an example of a T205 that I was forced to upgrade!) |
Brian -
I don't get it. Why would you have needed to upgrade that Walsh? Cheers, Patrick |

Different backs, and such a difference in the green, I'd keep both.

Excellent cards, Leon! |
Many times, in an effort to finish my t206 beater set.

Hi leon i like the 3 gorgeous
|
I have done that on numerous occasions but finding myself doing it less and less these days. I bought a Joss PSA 3 (a better conditioned card for me!), which I think was the last card needed for my T205 set with plans to downgrade it as soon as possible. But every time I look at it, I'm hard-pressed to want to let it go.
My efforts lately have revolved more around trying to upgrade rather than downgrade. But if I can downgrade a more expensive card to save a few hundred dollars and buy more cards I need, I'd almost always rather do that. |
