Like anything, there is value in the harder to find promo stuff. Most of it was given out to many, many dealers across the country and is not tough, but there could be some hidden gems.

In this case, it's easier to post what you have and let us figure it out. Most of the Ball Street etc cards are a couple of dollars, the Krause BB Cards inserts are 50 cents and up; Promos go anywhere from 50 cents for really common version and then up;
But if you have the right ones, then you have some value Rich |
I collected anything listed in the Standard Catalog for Topps from 48 to 94, and after that dropped off to base sets, updates later Heritage. That included any promo cards, test issues, inserts and adjunct stuff. Most base promo stuff from that period was inexpensive to pick up back then. But test stuff like Golden Spikes and Mylar Stickers were expensive and tough to find.
The Standard Catalog stopped post 1980 listings several years back, but I still have the last one that did. Agree that more detailed inventory of what you have is needed to give any input of items of value. |
Thanks I will post more pics tonight

Brian-- I have looked through them. Nothing jumps out at me as being something that would be of great value, but I am strictly a baseball guy and as mentioned above quit collecting promo stuff in 1994, so others may have better input.
I collected them to put with my corresponding sets. But master player collectors could be interested in some of these as well. Or just oddball collector types. There is a modern BST section here and something similar of CU. You could post them in those sections and see if you get any interest. If you decide do that it might help to post the pictures themselves if you can rather than the just the links since it took a decent amount of time to go through them ( and I bet to post them as well ) |
Thank you
