Crack Uruguayan Issue
Awhile ago I acquired some amazing (to me at least) cards of some key early Uruguayan players like Nasazzi and Cea. These are photographic cards and are most likely from 1927 given the age notations on the back. The third card is of a lesser known star, Isabelino Gradin.
Isabelino Gradin was one of the first black players ever on an international team and was one of Uruguay's brightest stars of the late teens and 1920's. Interestingly, he was also the South American 200m and 400m champion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isabelino_Grad%C3%ADn |
