Need Help with 1965 OPC
3 Attachment(s)
Hi Gang:
I do not collect OPC and have no idea about them. I however can pick up a group of them. Here is the info supplied to me: 65 OPC.. The Clemente has a printers mark but it is not a scuff. The scans are the general condition of the partial set. There are 162 of the 283 cards. There are 73 of the 85 high #’s . So what would be a fair price to pay for these? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Fred |
Hi Fred,
This is set I am slowly picking away at....at 168/283 with a decent mix of all series/stars. Many of the common high numbers, in mid grade condition, can run $12-20 each. I sold off some of my mid grade dupes as singles and this was the range I saw them sell for. Mid grade lower number commons pull $3-6 on average also. So if this partial set has 85% of the higher #s and some of the stars, you can average out the cost per card. Here is a 304 card lot with some higher #s that sold recently: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-O-Pee-...p2047675.l2557 |
65’s
He had it up on eBay for $500 and it didn’t sell. I bought a 73 OPC near set from him with no problems if you do make a deal with him. Rick

Hi Rick:
Thanks for the info!! I guess I should have checked ebay first. I won something else from the guy and when I paid him he wrote back with offers on other things he had. Never figured he had listed them on ebay. Best, Fred |
65’s
Yes that’s what he does sells little stuff on eBay then negotiates to sell big stuff off eBay. I’ve bought from him a couple times and both times hard sell off eBay. To answer your original question for someone who wants/needs them I see someone paying $300-350. Rick
