Jackie Robinson Transfer

I recently acquired the Jackie Robinson vintage transfer scanned below and I have a few questions about it. Does anyone know how they were issued? I had the Joe DiMaggio one years ago and I found that one (along with other characters) in groups on a plain white backboard. Did this Robinson come from a similar series? If so, what are the other subjects? Also, does anyone know an approximate date aside from circa 1947-1960? I would appreciate any information you can share regarding this. Thanks in advance, Alan |
I’ve also seen a Joe Louis so I’d guesstimate between 47-51, assuming they are currently active athletes.

Thank you Adam! That does help to narrow it down. Do you have a scan of the Louis? I tried searching online but I have always had difficulties searching for these because I never know what others call it (transfer, rub off, tattoo?) . I just tried a Google search with "Joe Louis" transfer and did not find it.
