Cleaning Out My Library - Free, With A Catch
I am in the process of cleaning out my sports library. As time permits, I will be listing my duplicate books and publications. I am willing to give these away free to anyone who can make good use of them. I will also pay for shipping. The only catch is that you make some sort of donation, at your convenience, to the Safe Have Furever Pet Rescue that Bill Latzko has created. Whether it be $2 or $50, every little bit helps.

Here are ten more books. Take one or all. Please respond in this thread with which ones you want so that everyone knows which are spoken for.
The Babe in Red Stockings has a bit of water damage, but is still very readable. The Prairie Fires And Paper Moons, The American Photographic Postcard 1900-1920 is missing its dust cover. Not sure why the photos are posting the wrong direction, but I am sure that you get the idea. I will try and take down the images of each once they are spoken for, but please refer to any posts asking for the books. |
I'll take 2
Cy Young and That old ballgame and will happily make a contribution. Thanks

Cy Young book
Just read the chapter on the two years Cy Young pitched for the St. Louis NL Team (called the Perfectos at that time 1899-1900). I previously knew how St. Louis acquired him(and his Cleveland Spider teammates) but not why he left for Boston's new American League team for the 1901 season. Interesting read. thanks again
