Larsen El Perfecto Full Ticket
Picked this up recently. Who doesn't use a Box Seat ticket to Game 5 of the WS?

Had to have been dismembered. Only logical reason.

Dismembered?
Magnifying glass and PSA say it's full!

Someone suggested that the crease in the middle indicates that a fan went to the game, but bribed the ticket taker to leave it untorn. He then folded it and put it into his pocket. Someone else said that he read a story of a father and his two sons who had four tickets to the game and couldn't find a fourth fan to join them. Anyway, I'm trying to get the LAST LIVING player from that game to sign it!....That would be the 88 year old Mr. Larsen. |

Very nice, Frank! Congrats.
As per your request, here is my signed Don Larson World Series Perfect Game ticket stub. BTW, I love the signature and it also has a vintage inscription on the verso in steel tipped fountain pen. |
My dad had success mailing to a private signing for Larson with his ticket. Probably no other route to go with him being so old.

Road trip!

What A Treasure----
---This is certainly special. I agree some degree of dismemberment must have been in play. Our very own Frank B. has an auto'd stub from this day. I would like to see everyone's stub or ticket from this game.

Road trip indeed!
I sent Don a letter last week on my MD letterhead asking him to meet me anywhere in his town at any time convenient for him. I would buy him lunch and pay his signing fee. I'm not comfortable mailing the ticket to him or his agent. My concern is loss or damage to the ticket. I'm still waiting to hear back. It's about a 6 hour trip to Idaho from New York, but I'll do it in a heartbeat if he agrees. Stay tuned. |
