Bid Retraction Ebay
I recently had an item on eBay that I was bidding on receive a bid that exceeded my Max that was instantly cancelled. I received an email stating I was outbid and then an email stating that the bid was retracted and in that email it stated I could view the bid retraction and the reasons. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the bid retraction in the bid history. Can someone educate me and guide me to where I can do this?
Thanks, Craig |
Post a link to the auction?

Be very wary when that happens. Some unscrupulous sellers will do that to see where your high bid is. Then they retract and later bid you up to your high bid.To stop this from happening its best to put your bids in at the end of the auction. That way they have no time to play games.

I don't think the bid retraction reasons will be very enlightening. They usually say something generic and if the seller is doing something shady the user id will be different anyway. Just stick it in your watch list and wait till the end like everyone else lol.
