Mantle Bat
Hi all,
I was able to work out a deal with a seller to acquire this bat and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what it is and what the value is? I did some research before purchasing and suspect it is an 80s/90s store model bat. The thing that confused me was the writing on the knob combined with whatever is going on with the handle. I'd love any thoughts y'all might have. Note that this wasn't really a gamble on my part as I'd wanted to pick up a signature model Mantle bat of some kind at some point anyway and was comfortable with the price I ultimately paid ($60 plus shipping). Looks to be a typical store bat. Interesting with the 7 and k55 notation, but unless there's provenance anything further would be assumption.

It's a retail bat 34" in length with a retail value of $10-15 on a good day (don't be fooled by the 7 written on the knob)

Thank you both. Kind of what I assumed. Oh well, still will look nice paired with my other Mantle stuff.
