Really excited to get this back today. The people at Beckett were really great to deal with. Dropped this off at the Chicago show on Sunday and have already got it back 8 days later.

Awesome Mike, congrats. Question, why Beckett?

Haven’t had a lot of luck lately with PSA and SGC wasn’t at the show in Chicago. I am thinking of having SGC cross/slab it at the National in Cleveland later this year.

Great card Mike. Donlin is my favorite player in the T206 set, and that back makes it a great card.

Great card!

Wow... a 1? That's very generous grade.

Paul S 03-27-2018 10:26 AM

Pretty certain that would cross as a SGC 1.

t206fix 03-27-2018 12:47 PM

whoa, previously unconfirmed, correct?

ullmandds 03-27-2018 01:37 PM

its a 1 of 1...does it really matter if it crosses?

tiger8mush 03-27-2018 03:36 PM

nice card Mike!
Rest assured that the card is well protected in that holder! :)

Seems like it does to the owner. I was responding to Henry's post. Me, I'm a raw guy, but since it's already holdered/protected I would personally just leave it as it is.

I am a collector, but hope and expect to sell my cards one day. In my experience, t206s sitting in BVG flips bring a significant discount to SGC and certainly PSA, and with a card that rare, I would think a future buyer would want it in an SGC or PSA flip. I just thought it was interesting it was put in a BVG flip

hshrimps 03-27-2018 09:15 PM

SGC and PSA probably won't give it a numeric grade.... that's probably the reason why it is in BVG case.
