Thoughts on this 52 Mantle?

I saw this Mantle on eBay and was wondering what you all thought? It screams scam but I can’t figure out what the angle is?

I often block out bar codes and certs when selling. :eek:

All’s you need to do is look at their seller feedback. Case closed. Next.

Feedback and no returns disqualify it for me. I still think the best course of action for a 52 Mantle purchase would be at a show or something

Like mentioned earlier with the negative feedback I would stay as far away from that seller as possible

Guy has been buying and selling $30 items then all of a sudden he offers an 18000 Mantle. Absolutely no way. Just my opinion.

It's this one that sold on ebay at the end of January. He just copied the
scan and made a few cropped close ups of all the edges.

He also has a 1955 topps Clemente psa 8 for $25000. I would suggest somebody hurry up and buy it before it’s gone. Probably want to mail him cash rather than going through ebay/paypal...:rolleyes:

I don't get this? It's not the like the buyer doesn't have a lot of experience, or at least it appears that way, so I am curious why someone like him would get suckered into this one? :confused: o***r(14321)

The Clemente PSA 8 just sold for $18,000. What a bargain.

Some guys take a chance on a listing like that hoping it's legitimate, and figuring they'll get refunded through eBay or PayPal if it's not.
