Grover Cleveland Alexander photo - Opening Day?
Who knows their Phillies? Trying to nail down what year this image was shot and whether or not this could be Opening Day, based on the packed house. GCA did start on Opening Day in 1915, 1916, and 1917 but I don't think the uniforms from those years jive with the photo. Any thoughts?:

Uniform suggests this is 1913 or 1914. All the other years they are sporting caps with stripes:

No clue, but that is one fine photo. So crisp!!!

The photo is not him pitching at Shibe Park

I believe this predates 1914/15. This image is beautiful.. It was done by iconic cameraman Paul Thompson.

It might very well be this game right here. April 25, 1913. Opening Day for the Giants at the Polo Grounds. Pete tossed 11 innings and the game ended in a 0-0 tie:

The image is definitely at the Polo Grounds, and definitely pre-1914. I'd say opening day in 1913 could be a good bet.
