Was it a 1929 Kashin R316 or not???
 

I saw this the other day. Thought about placing a bid on it.
I originally thought it was a R316 Kashin. Looks very similar except:
The facsimile and the writing on the bottom.
I tried to research it and came up empty.
So, What was it????

Looks like a reproduction of some sort, everything is just a little too fuzzy

yup, W554, These come in 4 different versions, B&W (like this one) vs a darker colored and caption/no caption, though I'm not positive all can be found in all permutations. If I remember correctly, the B&W ones are also on a noticeably thinner card stock.

Somebody got s very scarce Ruth for a good price. W554's very tough but like a number of large format issues not widely collected. Look at population numbers from SGC and PSA.

Nope 100% legit. I've owned a few of these and was the underbidder on this one. It was very nice should be a solid 3. Great pick up.
