1963 Fleer FB back Stripes
 

Curious as to how many cards from the set are available without the red stripe at the bottom of the card backs. I have these no red striped cards in my set:
20,36,44,52,68,72. Wondering also how this happened. Any thoughts?

From what I've read, cards whose number is divisible by 4, are available both with, and without the red stripe. Cards whose numbers are not divisible by four only exist with the red stripe.

that makes sense. i have just seen another two cards on ebay in a quick scan: #4,24. your theory looks spot on!

If you go to the below website, you'll see a layout of the two 132 card sheets. You'll notice that each of the cards is either double- or triple-printed, with the cards divisible by four, printed on the bottom row. These cards on the bottom row, did not have the red stripe on them. All the cards in the other rows did have the red stripe.
