It came in a box of cards he got from his uncle. Got to be legit.

I offered him 99¢ to use for the auction class I'm teaching this spring on counterfeits and reprints. It was auto declined.

Well, we could do without this comment, for one. The seller left the .01 percent chance it could be real. That really is 0 percent. Not a bad thread to me just an antagonistic comment by you.

There are always dozens of these types of listings. I wish the seller was required to write out "reprint" in the title. "RP" seems like a slimy way to hopefully catch an unsuspecting person off-guard.

It may be real. Why should I waste my time sending it off to a grading company and maybe get thousands of dollars for it, when I can sell it fast on ebay for 500.00 bucks!!!! RIGHT!!!!

Honestly, he said no refunds. But we all know you'd get a refund with ebay's return policy. There is no such thing as no returns these days.
You could always take a chance, 2-3 day it at SGC, PSA or heck, even Beckett, and then get your money back if it's come back fake.

Cost in shipping and grading fees > probability of authenticity x price of real card

This is great except there is 0% chance it is real. The effort would be a colossal waste of time.
