Don Larsen TTM Dilemma
 

Has anyone had any success with Don Larsen TTM lately?

About a month ago, I sent a 1956 WS cachet, with a $5 bill & SASE with a note asking him to sign the cachet in blue ballpoint ink.

Approx. 10 days later my SASE was returned with the cachet unsigned, with a printed note asking for a $7 donation for each autograph (my $5 bill was not returned)...

I was a little perturbed, however I resent it to him with a personal check made out to him for the $7 with the same request.

Yesterday, my SASE was returned however the cachet was returned still UNSIGNED however in checking on line with my bank, my check was cashed.

In the grand scheme of things, this is not a lot of money but I'd still like to get this cachet signed.

Anyone here have any recent success with him or have any thoughts on what I should do next?

On another site I have seen 6 successes in the last month and 2 where the checks or cash were taken and cards not signed. Maybe write to him and explain what happened with what you want signed.

I just wanted to provide the board with a positive update to this situation....I did indeed send the cachet back to Mr. Larsen (for the third time) with a brief, polite note that he must have forgot to sign the cachet the last time....

When the SASE arrived back yesterday, I had to hold my breath!
