Fielding Offers - 1933 Goudey Ruth - Raw - 149 Red 181 Green
These are from the same collection as the T206 cards that I have sold over 200 cards from over the past month and a half.
Please understand that the seller has a bit of an attachment to these Ruth cards and as such we are looking to gauge interest and field offers only at this time. The red Ruth obviously has creases but still very nice eye appeal. The green Ruth is an absolute stunner. The picture does it justice. The only flaw I can see with the card is difficult to explain. If you look between Babe's name on the top of the card and his shoulder there is a very light smudge or something of that sort. Again not sure how to describe it. Centerikng not great but corners are immaculate and no creases. http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...psuq3eoocq.png http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...psxts5ad1i.png http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...psvnxy6olq.png http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps7xqanhts.png Again, I did not want to say that these cards are "for sale", but if offers come in that are intriguing, they may well become available. Man I wish. Very nice cards there!

Selling cards instead of buying now but if I had the funds I'd love both of them. Great looking cards!

Thanks guys.
I'm telling you. Just being able to have these cards in my hands for a little while has been such a thrill. Even just as the broker for them. When I shipped out the first batch of some 140 T206, I could have sorted everything quickly and done it in a reasonably short span of time. But I let it linger just to be able to handle these amazing pieces of history for a bit longer. Such a thrill. And these two Ruth's? Holy crap. |
Great looking cards, Tom!
