Any help with this PSA flip? (T206 related)

Looking for opinions on this T206 flip.

Is PSA identifying this card as an Old Mill Brown?

My understanding was that all OM Browns were scraps and could only obtain an 'Authentic' grade.

What say you?

Thanks.

PS: I do not have a scan of the back, sorry

All Brown OMs should be hand cut and graded Authentic. This card seems to be identified as an OM Brown. However, I can't find any listing for a Paige OM Brown in PSA's pop report. If they listed it as Brown on the flip, it should also be listed that way in the pop report.

Have you checked the serial number against PSA's data base?

Thanks for the advice, I did as you suggested and came up with this....

But no reference to it being an OM Brown.

It's possible the owner sent it back as a mechanical error to have the "brown" removed from the label.

Good idea but I can discount that possibility with a fairly high degree of certainty.

It is also possible that the info entered into PSA's system to be displayed online is a different field than what is printed on the flip. In other words, maybe they enter the ad back for the flip name in one place and enter the ad back for the pop report another place. Not sure why they would do it this way, but I am not sure why people do a lot of things the way that they do. It would explain how the discrepancy could exist.

hello

all brown old mills HAVE TO GRADE AS "AUTH" :D they are basic printer's scrap.....they were ALL hand cut

IT IS A MISTAKE ! that flip is wrong.....someone was sipping on the Jamo when they typed the label....

PSA screws up ALL the time.....I mean ALL the time..... totally clueless on scraps/variations.....great on standard issues....clueless on variations.....

when are they going to ask me for opinions:confused:;) or have they already???

SGC has dropped the ball lately also.....very disappointed in both lately(sorry guys, just being honest)

my services ARE FREE!!!

:)

hahaha....

there is another one on ebay graded erroneously :p

if you have to ask "is this brown?" usually it is not .....bom are VERY EASY to discern

Paige is possible, , but without even seeing the back, I will say 100 % no...

if you want to know, email me a back scan.....:)
