Player Charm Try again to see if I can get an ident
 

I have posted before but never could find anyone who knew who this might be.

There was, a couple of years ago, some fairly involved discussion of precisely that charm:

No final definitive answer there and then as to who that might be (although we tend to concur
with Fred's theory), and we doubt there'll be agreement on it until that same pic of that player
shows up, captioned with his name, in another medium.
