Naughty or Nice? You'll find out!!
With the holiday season around the corner, I am in the giving mode. I have some stuff laying around that I want to give away rather than sell.
Post your hobby interests here. If it's something I have I will contact you for your address and send it out. Everyone deserves a break sometimes, or even a few freebies. hope everyone is having a good holiday season and thanks to all who have helped me in my journey these past few years. Let's spread some holiday cheer!! |
What a Nice Holiday Surprise
Wow this is really solid of you, Stephen. Hopefully this cheer is repaid on you 10 fold.
I collect: -All things Kirby Puckett -Vintage baseball advertising featuring players (tobacco, tires, razors brillo cream etc). -All things vintage Detroit Tigers -Vintage baseball card advertising -Any vintage HOFers Wishing you well,:) Kris |
Great idea. Thanks for the kindness, even if it's not something I can use.
My only collecting interests are 50s-60s baseball and football (in particular 60T FB and 62T BB). Those are my main interests right now as those are the 2 sets I'm working on. Other than that, I collect anything related to Walt Disney World. |
Hard to pass up such an offer! I love the Dodgers, Fleer Ted Williams, Frank Robinson, and Dwight Gooden. My greatest love is Hank Aaron but I have almost all I want on that one!

That's really a nice thing to do this time of year. As you can probably guess from my board name, I collect Cardinals, and I especially like the 60's-70's Cardinals, but pretty much anything related to my favorite team.

Great gesture Stephen. I collect Yankees stuff--vintage cards and modern game used. I also pick up oddball items whenever I can find them.

As you likely know, I collect mainly 52 Topps cards but also a variety of others as seen in my Net54 link below. |
I collect (on and off)
Autographed Books (Do not have to be sports) Interesting Hobby Reading Material -- Have had most of it but always looking for interesting items. Rich |
Playing Santa can be fun. I don't have the inventory you must have, but I think I'd enjoy doing something like this if I did. So thank you, whether you send me anything or not.
My preference in no particular order: Baseball Only 1950's and 1960's Vintage HOFs 1975 Topps high grade cards - all cards in set, but have been chasing a nice 1975 #500 Nolan Ryan. (that's not asking for too much, is it? ha ha) Don Mattingly (went to same HS he did) Am Intrigued lately by Pre-Way (early tobacco cards, Goudeys and 1948 Leaf) but have literally never touched one. Never considered collecting them, but my interest is rising simply from being a Net54 member. Favorite Sets (somewhat in order) - 1954 & 1955, 1960, 1965, 1975, 1956, 1957, 1972 Favorite Players - Mattingly (watching him play in HS when I was 11-12 yrs old), Mantle (read all his books and he was my favorite player growing up despite being born in the year he retired) Mays (spent much of 3 days w/ Willie so I have some stories) Nolan Ryan Reggie Jackson Clemente Vida Blue (drank beer with him - cool dude!) 70's Big Red Machine 80's Cubs - Love of the Cubs coincided with the break up of the Big Red Machine and Evansville, IN getting cable and watching WGN after school every day Done rambling. Kind of got on a roll there.... ha ha Chris |
Thank you so much for sending out the photo. I came back from a long trip and it was a very welcomed surprise. I have a pretty large Yankee collection, but, despite a weird auto of his on the back of a Mantle poster, I have nothing of his. So, very glad to add this one. Very nice gesture. Thanks again!

Thanks!
Stephen, my surprise was in tonight's mail (a Mize autographed HOF postcard). Very nice! Thank you, and happy holidays to you and yours!

Just arrived!! Thank you so much. Seeing Dr. K pitch at Dodger Stadium in '85 was one of the baseball highlights of my life. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...acc23a9ec9.jpg
