What is the story behind 1952 Topps packs?
I'm sure this has been discussed before? But every once in a while, most recently in REA, I see an auction house with a sealed 1952 Topps 5 cents pack. Where did these come from? Does anybody know? Are they authentic? From my understanding, the Alan Rosen find was a vending box, so that would've just been a bunch of cards inside in a cardboard box. Thanks for the education.

I thought the Rosen find was cello packs. And there have been a few 52 packs that have been found from time to time. A group from unopened specialist "baseball card kid" comes to mind with a pack or two opened at a national. I have a batch of old SCD'S I will look through and see if any finds are listed there.

The 52 five cent packs have been relatively easy to get, or at least to find. But the 56 and 58 five cent packs are rare

And no one cent packs for the 52 highs IIRC.
