I have a thing for mid 70s cards and the AS banners/badges they used. A lot of cool cards in that era, but I suppose my favorite Morgan cards would be his 66 Topps and his 71 Topps.
	1974, 1977 & 1979 get honorable mention. |

I, too, love his 1976 card. There is something really stately about it.

Here are a couple regional issues of Joe Morgan. I like the oddball stuff.

And don't forget, two-time NL MVP. Not many ballplayers can claim 2 MVPs.
My favorite cards are the '71 and '77 Topps as well as the 1966 Sports Illustrated with he and Sonny Jackson. The below photos are not mine, but I do have a signed copy (by both) of the SI. |

Great thread! A lot of great choices for Joe Morgan. My favorite is the 73 Topps. I wish the 73 I posted was mine.

When I was a kid we all used to imitate his batting style of banging his back elbow against his body; although no one knew why he did it! In 1975 and '76 Joe Morgan was the best player on the planet. Why did Houston ever trade him?
	Way cool: Attachment 295533 |
