I'm not a puckster and I'm not a huckster.

Clarification of how this auction will end is provided in post #13.

Up for auction are fine graded examples of three hockey stars of the recent past.

The auction begins now and ends Sunday evening the 12th of November at midnight eastern time (that's 9PM in San Francisco;))

Shipping is not included in your bid and will be $5 in the US and $10 in Canada.

If the actual shipping charges are less, expect a refund of the difference.

Any opening bid of $3 is requested and let's keep the increments in whole dollar amounts.

PP F&F works well for me, but you want to pay in other ways, let me know.

Now for the ICING ON THE PUCK rules of play

With each bid I will add another card (icing) to the kitty. These will be ungraded or graded cards randomly selected from my vast inventory. I shall attempt to post scans of the added cards in a timely manner after each bid. The additional cards (icing) will increase in value as the amount bid increases. If the final shipping charges exceed the stated values, the additional shipping is on me.

I have also decided to post the first additional card (icing) before the first bid is made. The additional cards may or may not be hockey cards. The first one is not, but it does feature two hall of famers you may know.

I realize that many of you are keeping a running total of the value of this auction. The $31 addition conveniently comes with its value on the reverse, which I believe has been adjusted due to centering issues. No need to ask either, the protective holder is included.;)

IMPORTANT RULE MODIFICATION.

Adding "icing" in the waning moments of this auction does not seem fair to all. So in the interest of all bidders, no cards will be added after 9PM eastern time tomorrow. Bids recorded at 12:00MN eastern time will be valid, but those at 12:01 or later will not.

At 9PM Eastern time the contents of the auction will be frozen with no further additions. By 9PM eastern (6PM pacific) (8PM mountain) and (7PM central) you will know exactly what you are bidding on. No need to stay up an additional three hours to place your final bid. With 11 unique bidders so far, I expect anticipated rebidders to tangle with the snipers and high rollers this evening to determine the lucky winner.

The current leading bid is $32, which would be $37 shipped in the US and $42 shipped to Canada.
