Mickey Mantle signed Plaque question
2 Attachment(s)
I have a signed Mickey Mantle plaque. I have no clue about where it originally came from-and if its even authentic. It is numbered on the photo on the front and on the back on some sort of coa (maybe?)
I dont recognize the little certificate of collectible on the back. Maybe someone here knows something about this? Also the photo seems to be glued (maybe) on to the plaque-then screwed in. I took out the screws and was going to remove the photo to look at the back of it and it is sd and I didnt wanna risk tearing it. So does any one here recognize this plaque or the certificate on the back? Is it authentic? |
Too small to be definitive, but from what I can see, it looks likely ok.

Over the years I have observed dozens of this exact item.
I suspect that they are copies/reprints/reproductions. The sig itself is authentic, but............ |
I guess I dont understand what you mean by this....

When the COA has no contact information on it then that is a really bad sign.

Agree with Christopher, I have seen this piece tons of times and it’s always the exact same signature in the exact same spot... meaning the “original” was authentic, but these plaques were made from color copies. (I.e. it’s a “reprint”)
