..that kid who hung around to finally get both the Bucher & Babich autographs was a persistent one of a kind--that is a 1936 R313 National Chicle Premium "Fine Pens"....the Furillo is a standard fifties Dormand postcard , the Drysdale is a Mitock And Sons Plastichrome Colourpicture postcard.. the Gil Hodges is a, I think, 1952? Schedule Of Home Games (with instructions on "How To Get To Ebbets Field" on the back ), and finally there's my great grand-uncle-in-law Leo Carillo's old business buddy 'Fresco' Thompson in a Phillies uniform on a 1929 Kashin ; he was high up the L.A. Dodgers organization after the despicable flight to Chavez Ravine...some old guys still spit and swear when you bring that up.... ... |

Kinda,sorta Dodgers. This is a unique cabinet of the 1892 Los Angeles team of the California League , the first professional team in Los Angeles.
