Late last night began doing research on Zeenut cards, and the Venice Tigers. Came across a newspaper data base full of period articles and some photos.

Please lemme know if this is redundant to this site. Being a newbie, I've probably found a resource you guys knew about years ago. Anyway, wanted to contribute as thanks for great welcome and advise.

Always looking for sites that give information on old boxscores etc. Can you post a link to the site??

It's a California newspaper data base called California Digital Newspaper Collection. Registration is required, and there's an option to upgrade to get better quality images.
