Black Bat Question
 

A friend of mine told me that he had black bats that he might want to sell. One is the 1941 New York Yankees. The other bat is one that I have never seen. It is titled Champion American League Hitters. The names on the bat include Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Dom Di Maggio, Bill Dickey, Cecil Travers Joe McCarthy, Johnny Pesky and Connie Mack. Can anyone tell me what this is and approx value? Thanks in advance.

I'd think it is something akin to this Giants bat I have. H&B/LS obviously did other black bats in addition to their World Series series. I'd guess yours is worth $150-250.

Thanks Rob. Yours is dated and listed as an all star bat. This one in not dated and has mostly Yankees and Red Sox, probably from the early 40's.
I know black bats do not have high value at this time but I would still like to determine exactly what it is.
I can't find any site that lists the Louisville Slugger black bats other then World Series.
