In great shape and postally used of this highly unusual image of Tigers' Manager Hugh Jennings' car overturned in Goldsboro, PA next to a bridge after driving off it in late 1911.

As noted in the newspaper account, "'A little better than an even chance of recovery,' is an authoritative statement made tonight of the condition of Hugh Jennings, manager of the Detroit base ball team, and the Rev. Peter F. Lynnet, who. with Mr. and Mrs. David Holden, were injured in an automobile accident near Goldsboro. Pa., last night. The Holdens were only slightly injured. Jennings is suffering from concussion of the brain, a fractured left arm and many gashes and bruises about the head and body."

Very tough card to find as the population is listed as just this one card in the SGC pop reports (although I do know of one other which exists).
