1969 NY Mets auto signed ball question
Hello again,
Also ran across a team signed ball for 1969 Mets. Came with a certification from Scoreboard.. Sigs look good for Seaver and Ryan... other do to... No pix yet... Did Scoreboard ever do a ball of this type? If so potential value? Thanks again! |
Reunion signed 1969 Mets balls are always in demand. Value would be based on completeness and quality of signatures and of the ball itself. Ryan and Seaver are the keys so you have that going for you. If it was done by Scoreboard then it was long enough ago to have McGraw on it which is another smaller draw. No idea if Scoreboard did these or not so I'm not much help there.
Beautiful examples with 25+ bold signatures on a pristine white ball could fetch $250-300. That price goes down base on completeness, signature clarity and ball condition, none of which can be ascertained without a photo. Tom C |
IIRC, some card show promoter did a '69 Mets reunion show, I think, around 1994 for the 25th anniversary of the team. If legit, the ball may have been signed there.

It's hard to see but the Seaver looks good to me.
