I am wrong. It did come from there web site. I just hate gold liquid pens. They tend to fade and look sloppy.
That was a great guess that the signature was authentic. How did you figure that out.:eek:

I agree. Gold pens just always look wrong to me, even when they're good.

I noticed that the auction LOA did mention a lot number. I've also noticed that for whatever reason, Green Diamond had Ted signing with gold pens excessively. :confused:

I guess I made the assumption that since gold pen is arguably weird/undesirable that why would a forger decide to use it?

A forger would like to use all the liquid pens. It covers up many mistakes that you would see when it is signed in pen.

That makes a lot of sense. It really seems to smooth out imperfections.

Picked it up because it had a nice flow and luckily Hunt Auctions has an auction archive! :D
