OT - who has seen "Experiment in Terror"?
As a SF Giants collector, I'm thinking of buying this movie on DVD. My buddy sent me a screenshot of a Candlestick Park ticket dated August 18, 1961 (my 6th birthday!) vs. the Dodgers. The real game of this day ended with a Ceoeda walkoff HR in the bottom of the 10th :D
For anyone who has seen it, if there enough baseball action to make it worthwhile? From what my buddy told me, it's real game action with real players. |

I'm still wondering about my original question, though....does any know how much real game action is shown in this movie? I also wonder how many audience shots there are, as I always like looking for memorabilia in the stands. |
So the baseball action is all in the last ten minutes of the film. I re-watched the ending this afternoon.
Game is supposed to be Giants vs. Dodgers on August 18, 1961. Some of the footage seems to be from a different game. Players in the last ten minutes include Harvey Kuenn, Don Drysdale, John Roseboro, Mike McCormick, Tommy Davis. The baseball action is a few seconds sprinkled in every minute or so. HD captures for your enjoyment. :) http://imgur.com/a/8iwjF |
