Help dating Gehrig mini bat
 

Hi All.

Can anyone please help me date this mini bat a little more accurately?

My guess was 40's... Thoughts?

That's a pretty good guess. Late 30's to mid 1940's. That '40' brand in the middle was used into the 50's but probably not as much for Gehrig. It is a 16" bat, right? 14" would be a tougher bat but wouldn't have a 40 brand I don't think.
