Speaking of the Old Judges that Wilmot flip is pretty interesting. I have never seen one black out like that. Its listed as SGC A but with a blown up scan I could tell the grade. No cert # legible. Wonder what the protocol is for reholdering such a card.

I took a further look at the tag and was finally able to read that it was graded a 50. I have saved the original text for the card and added errata in the description.

I picked up some nice stuff tonight. All belongs over in the Post War thread, so I wont bore you here with details. The highlights: Missed out on a nice PSA 6 '55 Jackie Robinson, which sucked. Did grab a coupla Clementes, however.

Thanks all for the nice comments. I am very thankful to the consigners of the sets, they both amass a nice collection. I feel that by breaking sets such as these into individual or smaller lots that the value will be maximized for the seller.
As far as dates for auctions, I have the next three auctions always posted on the front page of the site. I also had made up a schedule card for 2017s schedule and will be making another one for 2018 (hopefully within a month). So if would like one let me know. If you are looking for multiple auctions check out Old Cardboard or Auction Report. Thanks again to everyone for your continued support of Sterling, Lee Behrens 320-219-1372 |
"It would be nice if there was an aggregated list of upcoming auctions. Does anyone know if something like this exists? "
Click on Old Cardboard above right and select auctions, they continually update it. |
The other source Lee mentioned is: http://www.auctionreport.com/
I have noticed that there are a couple of significant auction houses that apparently don't subscribe to Auction Report. |
