Fantasy Baseball question
So it looks like I am going to be w/o Clayton Kershaw for some time and I was wondering who you folks might be the best option for me to pick up.
Pickings are some what slim here are a few guys available on the waiver wire Mike Foltynewicz Patrick Corbin Ian Kennedy Jeff Samardzija J.A. Happ Josh Tomlin Also some of the young call ups like Luke Weaver & Erick Fedde. Thoughts? Any dark horses out there I should look at? I am currently sitting in second place, 5.5 games back in a 12 team head to head league. Thanks, Scott |
Peacock SP Houston, ck the guy`s line over the last say, 2 months. If he stays in the rotation with that lineup, watch out !!

Scott,
Really depends on what CAT's your trying to improve on and if it's a keeper league... I play in a AL and NL league. My NL pitching staff is a joke. Own Samardzija in my NL. Great for K's and that's about it. Finally had a great game the other day with a W and 9 K's. He'll drive you crazy. ERA killer. Dropped Tomlin earlier in the year and he's kinda streaky. Think Happ is coming off the DL... I'd take either Corbin, Folty, or Kennedy. Both good for K's and better chances for Wins IMO. Not a Fantasy guru. But took 1st in AL last year and currently 2nd. 5th in the NL. 10 owner leagu FWIW. Good Luck! |
I like Folty. NL pitcher, and a righty.
Other options Jimmy Nelson, Jordan Montgomery if available. |
I went ahead and picked up Folty, that's who I was leaning towards anyway. I was intrigued by Tomlin because he has put together 3 solid stats in a row and is playing for a pretty good team.
Thanks for the input everyone & good luck with your fantasy seasons if you are playing. Scott |
Well done.

Folty has a chance to be special...if he can continue to control his emotions.
That's who I would have chosen too...good job. - |
Take a look at this kid Bridwell SP Angles, might be under the radar.
