Compare them to others online, I just looked at the ones on the PSA site. (Lets not go down that road eh, I know they're not perfect)
Oddly , it's more a question of what if anything is right about them. Even to me they seemed off, and after comparison they seem worse. You guys must be teaching me something. Steve B |
I am certainly no fan of JSA... or any other TPA, for that matter.
But the ball is good. |

Chapter 10 of why I don't spend big on autographs. I didn't like them, but if David and Chris do I've just learned something. Steve B |

The DiMaggio is the one I'm mainly referring to..
|
It's not a dot in Dimaggios name. It's part of the "i" in D"i"maggio which he dropped later on to sign just Dmaggio

I've seen a few early DiMaggio autos signed just J, and the . is in a different place each time, with this one certainly being within specs.
|
I give up, holy cow! You can clearly see an extension of the pen after the letter J. It's not just a J with a dot, but there is obvious writing after the letter J. Life's too short....

The bottom line is that the DiMaggio is authentic and I find it to be a very cool sig.

Damn. Writing with a mouse looks like crap, but works.

To me it's J. DiMaggio
|
The "D' in Dimaggio looks like a "J". But it isn't. It is a "D".

How many Polacks does it take to change a lightbulb?
|
Quite entertaining. My thoughts, nah.

The bottom line is that it is authentic and very cool. |

I still think both autos are not good....Just my opinion...

Just as in the same way I would trust the opinions of Ted Williams about hitting, Bill Bellichick on coaching and Kobyiashi's on how to eat. |
Last post
My biggest objection on the DiMaggio is there appears to be an extended amount of writing after the letter J. It's not just a letter J, but there is clear indication of extended ink after it. Also, the Gehrig to me doesn't look right. The large loops of the letters L and G run in to each other, almost touching they are so close, and some other letters are funny looking. This will be my last post, life is way too short. Pertaining the last poster's comments about Chris and David, yes, they are very experienced and their opinion has been clearly stated. But there have been several opinions that agree with me on the concerns of authenticity....The end, thanks..
