Another huuuuuuuuuuge auction for a not so common 1956 Vest-Pocket edition of the Encyclopedia of Baseball by Turkin and Thompson.

The paperback book is complete with a few creases on the cover. The book is unmarked unmarked and has age related toning. The spine is cracked in one place only and the open book will lie flat only on the pages scanned.

Somewhere along the way it got discarded or donated, but someone had the insight to give me the full encyclopedia instead of the usual savings bond or whatever for my Bar Mitzvah. It was a classic in its day, even without the WAR and BABIP etc.
