Unfortunate

Very disappointing to see this card on eBay last night offered for sale for $200 more than was paid here. I wanted this card for my collection but was 60 minutes too late. My loss. But a $200 markup? Disappointing.

Just for the record, I also was apparently minutes late in trying to acquire this T206 speaker, and this card was not sold to me.

I also wanted the card for my personal collection.

Thanks for the clarification. I had placed you on my NEVER DEAL WITH LIST based on the impression you were flipping this for a $200 profit. I'll never deal with the eBay seller though.

Wow. Please add me to this list. Congrats to the buyer. Apparently you got a great deal on a nice looking card.

Not surprised considering the flipping nature of the hobby nowadays. I will also add the ebay seller to my list of not to purchase from.

listing a card for sale isnt flipping it...if actually sells the card for a $200 profit then thats real profit....if he listed the card for a $3000 profit....again its not profit until its sold

Listing a card immediately for more than the purchase price would seem to indicate a flipper's intent to flip.

Keeping several thousand cards in their closet without listing them would seem to indicate a buyer's intent to collect.

Neither action is wrong, but they are different.
