I Remember back when mowing a lawn, shoveling some snow or even climbing on roof tops ta clean out the gutters would of fetch me a few coins just ta put "The Mick's All Star Card" inta my spokes.
You know... Had ta let the boys know I was comin down the street aye! :)

This Story reminded me of an elderly women at the end of my block who didn't have any coins ta spare, However she sent me home wit a smile, a fine story along wit an Indian Arrowhead(Long Island was a hot bed fir'em!) & a tin of Oatmeal cookies...

Betcha there's a few of us that this Story hits home wit!? ;)

Jeff Morey used to run into Jane Mathewson and Blanche McGraw at the Hall of Fame Museum back in the 50s and 60s. He got their autographs on T206 cards. He also got Mrs. Chief Bender, but while I have the Mrs. Matty and McGraw, I don't have an updated version of that and have no idea where that card is today.
