Findlay Oilers Items/Cards?

After being referred to a 1917 E135 Collins-McCarthy Grover Hartley by Brian Van Horn (thanks again sir!), I figured I'd go ahead and test the knowledge base of the board.

My Grandpa and Uncle played for the Findlay Oilers, a minor league team in the St. Louis Browns organization, in 1940 and 1939 respectively. Their manager was Grover Hartley, who had a decent career in the majors before managing later in his career. Hartley has 4 cards that I know of...

- T207
- T200 Fatima NY Nat'l Team Card (Next to Mathewson)
- 1917 E135 Collins-McCarthy
- 1917 Boston Store

If you know of any others, let me know. I have a T207 and now a Collins-McCarthy. Keep me in mind if you see a Boston Store or Fatima for a good price. :)

The main reason for this post is to find out an answer to the following question.

Are there any Findlay Oilers cards or items out there for 1939 and/or 1940?

Looking forward to seeing just how truly amazing this board is, or if y'all are a bunch of posers. ;) My goal is to eventually invest in a custom display that will house the last baseball my grandpa ever pitched before going into WWII (he was a Southpaw Knuckler; my dad said it was a pain in the rear to play catch with him), some other items of his, Grover Hartley cards, and cards of players he and my uncle played with and against.

Below are Baseball-Reference links for reference.

Kyle, The T207 Grover Hartley card was issued with several different advertising backs. And, there are a couple more 1917 issues with advertising for Weil Baking (D328) and Standard Biscuit (D350-2). All of these are listed in VCP's checklist for Hartley - here's the link to it: http://www.vintagecardprices.com/bas...multi_player=1

In addition, there is another super scarce 1917 issue that should have a Hartley card that is not listed by VCP. I am referring to the Merchants Bakery set issued by a Norfolk, VA, business. The checklist would be the same as the other 1917 issues, but cards of only about 3 dozen players are known to exist, and I don't think Hartley is one of them.

This is incredibly helpful. I don't have a VCP subscription, so I never think to use that site. I have the Broadleaf T207, and I guess I need 3 more.

Well, I guess I'm not anywhere near completing my Grover Hartley PC. Haha. Thanks again!

Anyone have information on any Findlay Oilers items?
